Launched in 2007, The Food Foundation supplies high quality food produce for local businesses including buffet options for all occasions, from office meetings to parties, pop-up events and weddings.
Our catering staff are supported by individuals from diverse backgrounds as The Food Foundation offers opportunities and training in hospitality to people who are disadvantaged in the employment market due to some form of disability. Our students learn various life skills, develop their confidence and work towards SQA qualifications through our eLearning course.
We generate income through our catering business and café, however we also rely on grants and fundraising to cover our costs.
